Bob Manne of Hilton Head Plantation has served on the PSD Commission since 2003. He has been a Hilton Head resident for more than 24 years. Manne’s leadership tenure has seen the PSD make significant advancements in areas such as water supply and quality, sewer access for customers, and community relations. A graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, his career included systems design, project management and retail sales for IBM. He has been involved in numerous community and property owners groups on the island, including serving as president of the Hilton Head Plantation Farm Club and Newcomers Club, member of the Hilton Head Plantation Covenants Committee and ARB Board, and member and past-president of the Hilton Head Island Computer Club. Manne is an accomplished tenor and participates in many island musical events. He has served as president of the First Presbyterian Church Choir.
